The KFL-DC series intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is a new generation of fully intelligent flowmeter developed by our company based on Faraday ‘s principle of electromagnetic induction. This intelligent anti corrosion electromagnetic flowmeter can not only measure the volume flow of conductive liquids, but also be used to measure the volume flow of corrosive liquids such as strong acids and strong alkalis, as well as uniform liquid-solid two-phase suspensions such as slurry, ore pulp and paper pulp. It is widely applied in fields such as petroleum, chemical engineering, metallurgy, light textile, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, papermaking, power, urban water supply and drainage, and environmental protection.

● Fully intelligent design, strong anti-interference ability and high measurement accuracy

● Intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter adopts a highly reliable EMI switching power supply, which can adapt to a wide range of power supply voltage variations and has excellent anti-EMI performance.

● It uses an imported microprocessor from the United States, featuring fast computing speed and high precision, ensuring stable and reliable product operation.

Working Principle

The electromagnetic flowmeter operates based on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction. When a conductive fluid flows through the magnetic field generated inside the flowmeter, an induced voltage is produced within the liquid. This voltage is directly proportional to the flow velocity of the medium, the magnetic flux density, and the inner diameter of the measuring pipe.

The induced electromotive force is detected by a pair of electrodes mounted on the inner wall of the flowmeter tube and is then converted into a flow rate signal. The relationship can be expressed as:

U = K × B × V × D

Where:

  • U: Induced electromotive force
  • K: Instrument constant
  • B: Magnetic flux density
  • V: Flow velocity of the conductive liquid
  • D: Inner diameter of the measuring pipe
